Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site for home construction, coordinating subcontractors, walk-throughs, and inspections to uphold safety and quality standards.

The role involves scheduling, monitoring budgets, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining excellent customer service throughout the construction process. Travel among communities is required as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of related construction experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Must have a vehicle and be willing to drive among communities.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction schedule to deliver quality homes on time and within budget.
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors for each construction phase.
• Inspect work and ensure compliance with plans, specs, and codes.
• Manage post-close warranty process and coordinate with homeowners for timely resolutions.
• Maintain clear communication with sales, warranty, and management teams.
