Job summary

D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to manage all functions of the job site for home construction, coordinating with subcontractors, scheduling inspections, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role covers multiple homes from permit to closing, with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely delivery. Key duties include directing the construction schedule, ensuring compliance with codes, and maintaining open communication with sales and warranty teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two to four years related construction experience.
• Ability to read construction drawings, specs and scopes of work.
• Proficiency with MS Office and DRH Construction applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction schedule and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery within budget.
• Schedule subcontractors for each phase and evaluate their work for compliance with plans and codes.
• Complete each home site from planning through occupancy and satisfy all contract obligations.
• Oversee warranty-related processes after close and manage customer communication.
