Job summary

Rosendin in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior High Voltage Estimator to lead the Renewables Pre-Construction estimating for Substations and transmission projects. You will oversee the bid process, coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical teams, and drive accuracy, value engineering, and profitability.

In this role, you will mentor junior estimators, manage scope and pricing for complex energy projects, review drawings, and ensure timely submission of client proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7–10 years of construction estimating experience, preferably in renewables.
• Strong knowledge of substations, transmission, and distribution estimating techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimation for complex energy projects from bid to turnover.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical teams during design and estimating.
• Develop labor productivity and unit cost assumptions based on site data.
• Prepare and review detailed material and equipment lists with suppliers and subs.
• Mentor junior estimators and lead internal bid reviews.
