Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to prepare and lead bid/submittal documents and cost estimates for electrical construction projects.

The role serves as the Lead Estimator on projects, collaborating with estimators, suppliers, and customers to finalize the estimate. The Senior Estimator will review proposals, drawings, and specs, identify value opportunities, and mentor junior estimators while ensuring timely submission of client documents and project turnover readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years estimating experience in construction.
• Experience in Accubid estimating software, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs and bid packages.
• Review drawings and specifications and attend pre-bid meetings.
• Lead sub-estimates and coordinate with suppliers and customers.
• Develop labor productivity and unit costs based on site data.
• Maintain estimate documentation and Rosendin estimating program.
• Draft scope and proposal letters for bids and negotiated projects.
• Present scope and pricing to Chief Estimator before bid release.
• Assist Project Management during project turnover.
