Job summary

Rosendin Electric is seeking a Senior Estimator in Texas to lead bid and submittal efforts for electrical construction projects. You will prepare detailed estimates, review drawings and specs, and coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to deliver competitive bids.

You will mentor junior estimators, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure timely completion of client-required documents while maintaining Rosendin’s standards of quality and integrity.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and design drawings.
• Perform arithmetic calculations for estimating.
• Estimate diverse project types and coordinate group effort.
• Mentor and assist with estimators' development.
• Identify and meet customer needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs for projects and document details.
• Review drawings, specs, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
• Evaluate areas for value engineering and cost savings.
• Provide leadership to discipline sub-estimating teams.
• Solicit and review quotes from suppliers/subcontractors and ensure conformance.
