Job summary
Rosendin Electric, a leading electrical contractor, seeks a Senior Estimator to prepare bid and submittal documents and develop cost estimates for complex electrical projects. You will lead the estimating team, work with suppliers, and ensure accurate, timely bids.
You will review drawings and specifications, perform quantity take-offs, and leverage historical data to project labor and material costs, while identifying value engineering opportunities for competitive pricing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ estimating or related experience on construction projects.
- Experience with Accubid, LiveCount Cloud, and Bluebeam is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates from quantity take-off for electrical construction projects.
- Lead estimators and coordinate with suppliers and customers on bids.
- Review specs and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to define scope and contents.
- Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs and improve competitiveness.
- Maintain detailed backup documents and Rosendin estimating program for all bids.
