Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an analytics professional responsible for financial, operational, and clinical performance analyses. You will partner with hospital and physician leaders to provide insights, quantify key drivers, and support major initiatives. Mentoring junior analysts is also part of the role.

You'll leverage detailed G/L, patient, and procedure-level data to explain trends, develop executive summaries, and present findings with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, BA, Economics, or Statistics or 6 years of related experience.
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to analyze large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Conducts analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses as requested by leadership.
• Analyzes variances vs budget/forecast to identify opportunities.
• Augments financial analysis with operational/clinical data.
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of shifts.
• Prepares executive summaries with findings and recommendations.
