Allegheny Health Network is seeking a seasoned analytics professional to support financial, operational, and clinical performance through detailed data analysis and reporting. The role partners with hospital and physician stakeholders, mentoring junior analysts and driving insights across key initiatives.

You will leverage G/L, patient accounts, and procedure-level data to explain trends and quantify drivers, while presenting executive summaries with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years of related experience.
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Ability to analyze large, detailed data and derive strategic insights.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Self-starter who drives progress with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses as requested by leadership.
• Analyzes variances relative to budget/forecast to identify opportunities.
• Augments financial analysis with operational/clinical data for context.
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of mix changes.
• Creates and presents executive-level summaries of major projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
