Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a senior Analyst in finance and analytics to support financial, operational, and clinical performance insights. You will partner with hospital and physician leaders to analyze volume, revenue, cost, and profitability, and to quantify value of key drivers.

Responsibilities include ad-hoc analyses, variances vs budget, and presenting executive-level findings with clear recommendations. Mentoring junior analysts is also expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field or 6 years of related experience
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ability to analyze and interpret financial, operational, and clinical data
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with cross-functional collaboration abilities

Responsibilities

• Analyze volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain results
• Perform ad-hoc analyses on business trends and leadership requests
• Analyze variances relative to budget/forecast to assess performance and identify opportunities
• Supplement financial analysis with operational/clinical data for holistic insights
• Utilize rate/volume calculations to quantify effects of payer and patient mix
• Create and present executive summaries with key findings and recommendations
• Other duties as assigned or requested
