Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks an analytics professional to support financial, operational, and clinical performance through detailed data analysis. You will collaborate with hospital and physician leadership, using G/L and patient data to explain trends and quantify drivers.

Mentoring junior analysts is also expected. The role emphasizes partnering with stakeholders, conducting variances analysis, and producing executive-level findings with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field OR 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to analyze diverse data sets
• Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively across the organization

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and/or profitability to explain financial results
• Performs ad-hoc analyses as requested by Finance leadership
• Analyzes variances against budget/forecast to identify opportunities
• Combines financial with operational/clinical data for holistic insights
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of shifts in patient or mix
• Creates and presents executive summaries of major projects with clear recommendations
• Performs other duties as assigned
