Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a finance and analytics professional to support a broad range of financial, operational, and clinical performance initiatives. You will partner with hospital and physician leaders, examine G/L and patient-level data, and translate results into strategic insights.

You will mentor junior analysts, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and present executive summaries with clear recommendations. Strong Excel, data visualization, and data-wrangling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years related experience.
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to interpret financial, operational, clinical data.
• Ability to manage large datasets and derive strategic insights.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
• Self-starter who drives progress with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain results.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses per business needs and leadership requests.
• Analyze variances to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Supplement financial analysis with operational/clinical data for context.
• Quantify impact of changes in patient, procedure, or payor mix.
• Create and present executive summaries with findings and recommendations.
• Other duties as assigned.
