Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Financial Analytics professional to support a wide range of analytics for financial, operational, and clinical performance. You will partner with hospital and physician stakeholders to explain trends and quantify key drivers.

You will mentor junior analysts, conduct detailed analyses, and deliver executive-level summaries of major projects, including recommendations and insights for performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field is required.
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) required.
• Ability to analyze financial, operational, clinical data and other datasets.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain financial results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses as requested by leadership.
• Analyzes variances relative to budget, forecast, or prior year.
• Supplements financial analysis with operational/clinical data.
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of changes.
• Creates and presents executive summaries of major projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
