Allegheny Health Network is seeking an Analytics professional to support the organization’s financial, operational, and clinical performance through detailed data analysis and reporting. You will partner with hospital and physician stakeholders to explain trends and quantify driving factors.

The role includes mentoring junior analysts and delivering executive-level summaries of major analytical projects with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field OR 6 years of related experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to analyze financial, operational, clinical data and other key datasets
• Ability to work with large data sets and derive strategic insights
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across the organization
• Self-starter who drives progress with minimal supervision

Responsabilités

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and/or profitability to explain financial results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses based on business trends or leadership requests.
• Analyzes variances relative to budget, forecast, or prior year to identify opportunities.
• Supplement financial analysis with operational/clinical data for context.
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of patient/procedure/payor mix.
• Creates and presents executive summaries with key findings and recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
