Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or related field OR 6 years of related and progressive experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
• 3 years in Decision Support and Data Analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to work with large quantities of detailed data and illuminate higher-level strategic insights
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build partnerships across the organization
• Self-starter who takes initiative and drives progress on major projects

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and/or profitability to explain financial results and enhance business understanding
• Conducts ad-hoc analyses on topics dictated by business trends or leadership requests
• Analyzes variances to budget/forecast/prior year to assess performance and identify opportunities
• Supplements financial analysis with operational/clinical data for holistic insights
• Uses rate/volume calculations to quantify impact of changes in patient mix, procedure mix, payer mix, etc.
• Creates and presents executive-level summaries of major analytical projects with key findings and recommendations
• Performs other duties as assigned
