Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a seasoned analytics professional to drive financial and operational insights across the organization. You will analyze volume, revenue, cost, and profitability, explain trends, and quantify driver value while mentoring junior analysts.

You’ll partner with hospital and physician stakeholders to deliver high-impact reporting, balance sheet and patient-care data, and support major initiatives with strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• This role requires strong analytical capability spanning financial, operational and clinical data.
• Experience in decision support and data analysis within a health system is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Ability to interpret large data sets and derive strategic insights.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conducts detailed analysis of volume, revenue, cost, and profitability to explain results.
• Performs ad-hoc analyses as requested by leadership.
• Analyzes variances against budget/forecast and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Augments financial analysis with operational/clinical data for context.
• Builds executive-level summaries with findings and recommendations.
• Mentors junior analysts and supports team development.
