SUD Recruiting seeks a Senior Lead Analyst to unite analytics, marketing strategy, and finance. You will own the narrative behind the numbers and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

You’ll build forecasts, monitor CPA trends, and lead test-and-learn initiatives, translating complex data into clear stories that shape acquisition and retention decisions. Hybrid work with in-office days required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus
• 5+ years in a quantitative business role with direct impact on B2C acquisition, retention, or churn strategies, with a track record of translating analysis into clear insights that influenced business decisions
• Hands on experience analyzing customer KPIs including CPA, CLV, churn, and retention, with the ability to connect those metrics to business performance and market dynamics
• Advanced, hands on SQL skills with the ability to write queries from scratch; not looking for vibe coders
• Comfortable using AI tools, automation, and workflow optimization to improve how analysis gets done and reduce manual work

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics lifecycle for acquisition, retention, and churn, from planning to post-campaign results.
• Build forecasts integrating inflation, costs, pricing, and product mix to guide planning decisions.
• Monitor CPA trends across channels and segments; stress test profitability under market scenarios.
• Lead test-and-learn initiatives and translate results into actionable recommendations.
• Diagnose forecast vs actual gaps to explain churn signals and market dynamics.
• Write SQL from scratch to pull and manipulate data for insights.
• Leverage AI/tools to automate processes and improve insight delivery.
• Translate analyses into clear narratives for senior leadership with a point of view.
