Title: Senior Lead Analyst, Customer Growth & Strategic Planning
Overview: An innovative leader is looking for a Senior Lead Analyst to sit at the intersection of analytics, marketing strategy, and finance. This person connects business performance to market realities, builds the models and forecasts that drive customer acquisition and retention decisions, and knows how to turn a complex analysis into a clear recommendation. The Senior Lead Analyst will own the story behind the numbers, and bring the initiative to find answers before anyone has to ask.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full analytical lifecycle across customer acquisition, retention, and churn, from pre-campaign planning to post-campaign performance, surfacing not just what happened but why it happened and what to do next
- Build and maintain customer forecasts that integrate external pressures like inflation and rising costs with internal variables like pricing and product mix, continuously recalibrating models and converting signals into strategic guidance that drives planning decisions
- Monitor and diagnose selling cost and CPA trends across channels, segments, and offer strategies, stress testing profitability under varying market scenarios to uncover growth and cost savings opportunities and make the case for where to invest
- Design and lead test and learn initiatives, measuring outcomes against hypotheses to identify revenue opportunities and cost savings and convert findings into recommendations leadership can act on
- Diagnose variance between forecast and actuals by digging into the data to identify what drove the gap and what it signals about churn behavior, retention trends, or shifting market dynamics
- Write SQL from scratch to independently pull and manipulate data, turning raw datasets into the analyses that drive strategic insights and business decisions
- Leverage AI tools, automation, and workflow optimization to streamline analytical processes, eliminate manual lift, and continuously improve how the team generates and delivers insights
- Translate complex analyses into clear, confident narratives for senior stakeholders, in writing and in the room, always leading with a point of view on what the data means and what should happen next
