Unum is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to translate business needs into data-driven solutions. The role sits in a Growth Analytics team focused on measurement, attribution, data strategy, and MarTech data pipelines.

You will partner with stakeholders to deliver actionable insights and dashboards that influence leadership decisions. The position is campus-based with a hybrid model requiring three onsite days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, CS, Math, Stats, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data science, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL is required and Python is a plus.
• Strong experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar tools.
• Experience within the insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms and emerging analytics technologies.
• Deep understanding of data profiling, data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization best practices.
• Experience working with data warehouses, transactional databases, APIs, and modern data ecosystems.

Responsabilités

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Perform moderate to complex data profiling, analysis, and source evaluation to identify the most effective data for business decision-making.
• Design, develop, and deliver dashboards, reports, datasets, and analytical solutions that drive measurable business impact.
• Conduct statistical analyses and communicate findings to influence recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with data engineers to validate data quality and support testing efforts.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts, helping elevate analytics capabilities across the team.
• Stay current on emerging trends in analytics, business intelligence, and data technologies.
• Take ownership of the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of analytical solutions.
