Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
• 9+ years in technical business development, preferably in grid automation or power systems.
• Strong understanding of U.S. utility market dynamics and standards (IEEE, IEC 61850).
• Experience with SaaS or subscription models in energy sector.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% (domestic/international).

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. market growth by identifying opportunities and shaping penetration strategy.
• Act as grid automation SME; lead presales activities and support solution design.
• Contribute to vPAC and IEEE working groups; represent ABB in standards.
• Build partnerships and represent ABB at forums; evolve offerings like SSC600, SMU600, and CogniEN.
