Nelnet is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the FACTS Grant & Aid/Scholarship Granting Organization team. You will manage end-to-end implementation and ongoing account support for SGOs using our G&A solution, fostering client relationships and ensuring successful utilization and retention.

The role requires strong Excel and Office skills, knowledge of the FACTS G&A solution, and experience in client-focused service. A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in a similar role are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Two years minimum experience in customer service or account management preferred.
• Experience with FACTS Grant & Aid solution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative support during the sales process and demonstrate how FACTS Grant & Aid meets client requirements.
• Lead all aspects of implementation for the G&A solution for SGOs and related groups.
• Build and nurture relationships with client contacts through proactive outreach and training delivery.
• Guide clients in the use of value-added services such as awarding processes and specialized reporting.
• Manage awarding functions, document review, training seminars, and specialized reports.
• Stay informed on evolving tax laws and state tax credit programs and communicate updates.
• Define, document, and maintain internal procedures for SGOs servicing.
• Serve as a G&A subject matter expert to internal teams.
• Foster cross-department collaboration and ensure quality metrics and compliance.
• Manage escalated client issues with resolution plans and root-cause analysis.
• Represent the FACTS Operations Team in leadership meetings when needed.
• Manage and resolve functionality tickets through ADO.
• Support the Training Team with refresher sessions and group training Initiatives.
