Job summary

Maximus, a leading provider to U.S. State and Local Government, seeks a Senior Proposal Manager to guide cross-functional teams through the full proposal lifecycle, from RFP analysis to submission.

You will work with executives to craft winning strategies and compelling messages for diverse state and local clients. The role is fully remote with ~10% travel, offering competitive compensation, bonuses, benefits including health, retirement, PTO, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading full lifecycle proposal development for state and local government clients.
• Ability to analyze RFPs/RFQs/IFBs and develop winning bid strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple proposal projects and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Develop high-level proposal strategies and win themes.
• Lead and manage the proposal development process for high-value and complex projects.
• Coordinate production, reviews, and submission of proposals.
