Maximus seeks a Senior Proposal Manager to lead cross-functional proposal teams and plan compelling responses for U.S. State and Local Government clients. This role is fully remote with about 10% travel, collaborating with senior leaders to deliver compliant, winning proposals.

You will oversee the full lifecycle of proposals, coach other managers, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high-quality content and tight coordination with production through submission.

Competenze

• 7+ years of experience in U.S. State and Local Government proposals.
• Full lifecycle proposal management experience including outlines.
• Advanced proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Acrobat Pro.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Oversee multiple proposal projects and ensure strategic alignment with business goals.
• Develop high-level proposal strategies and win themes.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
• Lead the proposal development process for high-value, complex projects.
• Interpret RFPs/RFQs/IFBs to determine requirements and strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive proposals.
• Write, revise, and edit proposal drafts for clarity and compliance.
• Develop executive summaries highlighting strengths and capabilities.
• Coordinate final production and post-submission processes.
