Job summary

Join Karsun Solutions, LLC as a Senior Contracts Manager to lead contracts, subcontracts and related processes across the procurement cycle. You will work independently and with teams, coordinating with junior to senior stakeholders to meet deadlines and manage contract items across large organizations.

Ideal candidate has extensive federal contracts experience, strong negotiation skills and ability to interact with government representatives while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or related field) with at least 10 years of experience or 15 years of relevant contracts experience.
• Experience managing large scale contracts for government contractors.
• Knowledge of CPSR and approval process.
• Knowledge of FAR and agency-specific acquisition regulations, ethics, and government property restrictions.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes from requisition to contract enforcement.
• Experience in federal contract negotiation and management best practices.
• Experience with different contract types including FFP, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, IDIQ, Teaming Agreements and NDAs.
• Experience with GSA Schedule contracts and GWACs, and working with cost-plus, firm fixed price, and T&M contracts.
• Excellent analytical and communications skills (oral and written).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Pre- and post-award contract support for prime and subcontract agreements; draft, negotiate, and modify contracts; manage documentation.
• Proposal development: work with BD, Pricing, and technical staff to develop proposals for cost-based, time-and-materials, and fixed-price offers.
• Compliance oversight: provide guidance on FAR compliance and corporate policy; document compliance for audit purposes.
• Review and evaluate RFPs and changes to contracts within the portfolio.
• Suggest approaches to mitigate risk, including revisions to terms and pricing strategies.
• Support proposal initiatives: review solicitations, prepare certifications, guide cross-functional teams, submit proposals.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders and coordinate for ongoing management of business and contractual issues.
• Process and administer contract modifications; work with government counterparts on compliance issues.
• Manage multi-award IT vehicles ensuring compliance with reporting (CAF, ISRs/SSRs, SCRs, FFATA) and related off-ramp/on-ramp procedures.
• Monitor vehicle spending caps, performance periods, and labor category mapping for task orders.
• Ensure proper assertion of IP rights in proposals and deliverables to protect proprietary software.
• Develop, negotiate, and administer Small Business Subcontracting Plans.
• Monitor prime contract goals and maintain CPARS performance ratings.
• Identify and manage Organizational Conflicts of Interest across prime and subcontracts.
