Mercury Systems in Huntsville, AL seeks a Principal Contracts Manager to lead government contracts, assess risk, and drive negotiations across programs in the Signal Technology Business Unit.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 6 years of directly related experience in contract administration/government defense contracting.
  • Experience with USG, prime and commercial contracts.
  • Experience with standard defense contract types (CR, CPFF, CPIF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ).
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, Part 12 and Part 15 contracting.
  • Must be able to obtain a US Government Secret security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage program and project contracts for Line of Business.
  • Review solicitations and prepare responses with proposal team; approve contractual documents.
  • Draft/review/ negotiate master agreements protecting company interests.
  • Advise on contractual rights, IP protections, COI and risk mitigation.
  • Interface with Government contracting officials and internal teams.
  • Maintain contract data and ensure compliance across functions.
