Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our Secure Line of Business, supporting government and DoD contracting with a proactive, detail-oriented approach. You will handle complex agreements, risk analysis, and negotiations while collaborating with internal teams to ensure contract compliance.

Role requires handling multiple priorities in a high-stress environment, interfacing with government officials, and maintaining strong working relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of related experience in Contract Administration/Business Management/Finance with government or prime customers.
• Experience with USG, Prime and Commercial contracts.
• Experience with standard defense contract types (CR, CPFF, CPIF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ) and all contracting phases.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and FAR Part 12/15.
• Ability to obtain a US government security clearance; US citizenship required.
• Travel: less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Manage Program and Project Contracts for the Line of Business.
• Review solicitations and prepare proposal responses with the proposal team; ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
• Draft/review/redline customer agreements; negotiate complex agreements including master agreements.
• Develop and implement negotiation strategies aligned with objectives.
• Advise management on contractual rights, IP protections, OCIs and risk mitigation.
• Maintain deadlines and enter contract data into databases; track compliance with other functions.
• Interface with Government contracting officials, prime contractors and customers.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Legal, Program Management, Finance, Pricing, Proposal, Property, Quality, Engineering and other teams.
