Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Principal Contracts Manager to support the Signal Technology Business Unit as an individual contributor with leadership skills and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. The role involves complex contract administration for USG and prime customers, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and protecting company interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
• 6+ years of directly related contract administration/management experience with government or prime contractors.
• Experience with USG, Prime and Commercial contracts and FAR/DFARS; ability to obtain a Secret clearance; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Program and Project Contracts supporting Line of Business.
• Review complex solicitations and prepare specialized/non-routine proposal responses; review and approve contractual documents for compliance with Terms and Conditions and customer requirements.
• Draft and/or review and redline customer agreements, negotiate complex agreements to protect company interests.
• Advise management and program teams of contractual rights, obligations, IP protections, conflicts of interest and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrate effective and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain deadlines for internal/external requests and enter contract data into databases as required.
• Analyze and track contract compliance with other functions.
• Interface with Government contracting officials, prime contractors, and other customer representatives.
• Internally interface with Contracts team, Legal, Program & Product Management, Capture, Finance, Pricing, Proposal, Property, Quality, Engineering and others as required.
