Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Principal Contracts Manager to support the Signal Technology Business Unit as an individual contributor with leadership and proactive problem-solving skills.

The role requires extensive experience with US government and prime contracts, FAR/DFARS, and the ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex agreements while safeguarding Mercury's interests. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and external government officials is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field.
  • Typically requires 6+ years of directly related contract administration/government defense experience.
  • Experience with USG, Prime and Commercial contracts.
  • FAR/DFARS knowledge and ability to obtain a US Government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage program and project contracts supporting Line of Business.
  • Review solicitations and prepare proposal responses; approve contractual documents for compliance.
  • Draft/Review/Negotiate master agreements to protect company interests.
  • Advise on contractual rights, IP protections, risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Interface with government contracting officials and internal teams to track contract compliance.
