Job summary

Mercury Systems is seeking a Contracts Manager to lead government contract activities in support of our Secure Line of Business. You will manage contract lifecycle, review solicitations, negotiate master agreements, and interface with government officials to protect our interests.

The role requires experience with FAR/DFARS, multiple contract types, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced defense environment. Travel is less than 10% and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field required.
• 4+ years direct experience in contract administration with government or prime contractors.
• Experience with USG, Prime and Commercial contracts and FAR/DFARS knowledge.
• Strong analytical, financial and negotiation skills with attention to detail.
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage program and project contracts supporting Line of Business.
• Review solicitations; prepare proposal responses with proposal team; review and approve contractual documents.
• Draft/review and redline customer agreements; negotiate complex contracts.
• Develop negotiation strategies aligned with goals and objectives.
• Advise management on contractual rights, IP protections, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain deadlines and contract history; enter data into databases.
• Analyze contract compliance with other functions; interface with government officials and internal teams.
