Job summary

Dow has an opening for a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME located in the Gulf Coast Region. The role serves as a technical resource for scheduling within the Platinum work process and partners with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and leadership to ensure adherence to scheduling standards.

The objective is to improve turnaround readiness, minimize risk, and drive predictable outcomes through coaching, governance, and performance oversight across the turnaround lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 10 years experience in turnaround execution and project controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software, and turnaround work processes.
• Experience as master scheduler in a major turnaround preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline with enterprise alignment.
• Provide scheduling leadership for major turnaround events to improve readiness and performance.
• Assess readiness, health, and risks across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure milestones are met.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and drive improved outcomes.
• Lead global scheduler qualification curriculum and mentor schedulers.
• Support execution by monitoring performance and enabling decisions that balance safety, schedule, and cost.
