Job summary

Dow has an opening for a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME located in the Gulf Coast Region. This role acts as a technical resource for Scheduling within the Platinum work process, delivering global scheduling expertise and governance across Dow's programs.

The primary objective is to improve turnaround readiness, minimize risk, and drive predictable outcomes by coaching, assurance activities, and performance oversight to the Scheduling discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience or 10 years in turnaround execution and controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
• Previous experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• Must possess a TWIC card or be eligible to obtain one.
• U.S. work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline and governance.
• Provide leadership and support to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness, health, and risks across FEL and execution phases.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions and gate reviews.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and improve outcomes.
• Own the global scheduler qualification curriculum and training.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices.
• Monitor performance and apply risk management to enable decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive standardization across processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling.
