Job summary

Dow is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region. You will serve as the scheduling expert, governing global turnaround scheduling, providing execution support, and ensuring adherence to Platinum standards throughout FEL and execution.

You will collaborate with OTEC, site teams, and stakeholders to drive readiness and reduce risk. The role focuses on improving turnaround readiness, consistency, and predictability by engaging with teams, coaching, and performing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of turnaround execution and project controls, or 10 years in lieu of degree.
Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software and turnaround work processes.
Willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
TWIC card or eligibility to obtain TWIC card.
US work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, aligning with enterprise standards.
Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams, especially for major events ($30MM+).
Assess readiness and health across FEL and execution phases; identify risks and gaps.
Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to meet milestones.
Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies and improve outcomes.
Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
