Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME for the Gulf Coast Region to provide global scheduling expertise and governance across the Platinum work process.

The role partners with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and stakeholders to ensure readiness, reduce risk, and deliver on-time turnarounds. Responsibilities include leading readiness reviews, driving improvements, and developing the scheduler curriculum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 years turnaround experience (or 10 years without a degree).
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software and turnaround work processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline, aligning with enterprise standards and governance.
• Provide scheduling leadership to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+), improving readiness and execution.
• Assess turnaround compliance, readiness, and health throughout FEL and execution phases; identify risks and improvements.
• Lead readiness reviews, challenge sessions, and gate reviews to ensure deliverables are met before execution.
• Develop recommendations to address readiness deficiencies, reduce risk, and improve outcomes.
• Own the global turnaround scheduler qualification curriculum and support training and mentoring.
• Lead global scheduler networks and promote best practices across Dow.
• Support execution by monitoring performance and applying risk management principles to enable key decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across turnaround processes and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-enabled solutions to advance scheduling capability.
