Job summary

Dow is seeking a Global Turnaround Scheduler SME in the Gulf Coast region. The role provides global scheduling expertise, governance, and execution support across the Platinum work process to optimize turnarounds with a focus on readiness and risk reduction.

You will partner with OTEC, site turnaround teams, and leadership to drive standardization and continuous improvement in scheduling discipline from FEL through execution, including training and mentoring schedulers across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or 10 years in turnaround execution and project controls.
• Deep knowledge of Primavera, scheduling software, and turnaround work processes.
• Prior experience as a master scheduler in a major turnaround is preferred.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% annually.
• U.S. work authorization is required; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern Dow's global turnaround scheduling operating discipline and ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
• Provide scheduling leadership and support to turnaround teams for major events ($30MM+).
• Assess readiness, health, and risk during FEL and execution phases; identify gaps and improvements.
• Lead readiness reviews, gate reviews, and challenge sessions to meet milestones.
• Develop recommendations to address deficiencies and improve outcomes.
