Job summary

Cisco Systems is seeking a Senior Client Executive to lead the strategic relationship with a major global financial services client in New York. You’ll set strategy, build executive trust, and coordinate sales, engineering, services and partners to operate as one team.

You’ll own the account plan, drive multi-year strategy, manage a matrixed team, and steer renewal and growth. The role demands 10+ years in enterprise technology sales, executive presence, and deep knowledge of networking,

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise technology sales or client leadership roles.
• 5+ years leading large, complex global accounts.
• Experience leading matrixed teams without direct authority.
• Fluency in enterprise networking, security, data center and cloud; knowledge of AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the executive relationship and act as trusted advisor on technology strategy.
• Set and run the account plan across networking, security, observability, data center and AI infrastructure.
• Lead the matrixed account team across sales, solutions engineering, services, customer experience and partners.
• Drive cost and complexity out through vendor-consolidation and total-cost-of-ownership conversations.
• Separate signal from hype on emerging technology and decide what delivers value now.
