Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced sales professional for an expatriate assignment in Japan, relocating for a minimum of 3 years to lead direct sales of mission-critical communications systems into U.S. DoD accounts.

You will develop account strategies, build trusted advisor relationships, and coordinate across Motorola teams to win key opportunities. Expect to travel 50-75% and work within a government-focused, multi-layer procurement process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience OR 8+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience.
• Technical background in RF communications and First Responder software platforms (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) preferred.
• Experience selling to DoD services or federal law enforcement agencies.
• Excellent communication, sales and writing skills; proven major sales closure track record.
• Knowledge of IP networking and information assurance is a plus; Salesforce.com familiarity desired.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government DoD accounts.
• Identify diverse customer needs and map them to Motorola solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and become trusted adviser.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet key account opportunities.
• Coordinate resources and collaborate with internal and external partners.
