Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a senior sales professional for an expatriate role in Japan, focused on direct DoD account sales in the Eastern US region. The position requires relocation for at least three years and significant travel.

You will identify customer needs, articulate solution portfolios, and lead cross-functional teams to win major opportunities with federal agencies while maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4+ years in sales or public safety.
• 8+ years in sales, customer success, public safety and/or military is acceptable.
• Experience selling to DoD or federal agencies preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proven closing record.
• Knowledge of RF and communications tech a plus.
• Ability to obtain required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to DoD accounts in the Eastern US.
• Identify customer needs and map Motorola portfolio.
• Build relationships and become a trusted adviser.
• Lead extended Motorola team to align with account strategy.
• Coordinate resources across product groups and partners.
• Travel 50-75% within territory.
