Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced sales professional for an expatriate role based in Japan, focusing on U.S. DoD accounts. The position requires relocation for at least 3 years and offers substantial travel across the territory.

You will lead conversations with federal customers, map requirements to our communications portfolio, coordinate resources, and drive deals from qualification to closure while collaborating with internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience.
• Alternatively, 8+ years in sales, customer success, public safety and/or military.
• Technical background in RF communications and First Responder software platforms (CAD, RMS, E911, Video) strongly desired.
• Prior experience selling into or working for DoD or Federal Law Enforcement Agencies is preferred.
• Excellent communication, sales, and writing skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in the Eastern US region.
• Identifies customer needs and maps them to Motorola portfolio.
• Builds strong relationships and becomes a trusted adviser to customers and partners.
• Coordinate resources across internal product groups and external partners to meet key accounts.
• Travel 50%–75% within territory.
