Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced sales professional for an expatriate assignment located in Japan, with relocation for a minimum of 3 years. You will directly sell mission-critical communications to U.S.

DoD accounts in the Eastern US and collaborate across Motorola to meet key customer needs. The role requires a strong technical background in RF and public safety software, a proven track record in closing major sales, and the ability to work remotely from a home office while traveling up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, public safety or military experience or 8+ years in similar roles.
• Technical background in RF/communications and public safety software is strongly preferred.
• Experience selling to DoD or federal law enforcement agencies is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, sales, and writing skills; proven major sales closings.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. federal DoD accounts in the Eastern US.
• Identify customer needs and map Motorola portfolio to those needs.
• Build relationships and become a trusted adviser to customers and partners.
• Lead account strategies and coordinate internal/external resources for key accounts.
• Travel 50–75% within territory.
