Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced sales professional for an expatriate assignment in Japan. The role requires relocating for a minimum of three years and focuses on direct sales of mission-critical communications systems to U.S. DoD accounts in the Eastern region.

The candidate will build strong customer relationships, coordinate internal teams, and articulate account strategies while traveling up to 75% and supporting global government initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience.
• OR 8+ years of sales, customer success, public safety and/or military experience.
• Technical background including RF communications and first responder software platforms is strongly desired.
• Experience selling to DoD or federal law enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities

• Direct sales of communications systems to U.S. Federal Government DoD accounts in Eastern US region.
• Identify diverse customer needs and map to Motorola Solutions portfolios.
• Build relationships and become trusted adviser to customers and partners.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet account strategy and opportunities.
• Develop and articulate account-specific strategies.
