EY in the US Government & Infrastructure practice seeks a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day-to-day GL, AP and expense processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS and EY policies. You will prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, assist with month-end close and audits, and collaborate across finance teams.

A bachelor's degree in accounting and 4–6 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookups.

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations.
• Prepare and review journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports.
• Assist with audits and respond to audit requests.
