EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support day-to-day GL, AP and expense processes for US government contracting work. You’ll prepare journalEntries, perform reconciliations, and assist audits, while coordinating with multiple finance teams to ensure compliant, timely financial reporting.

The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy and proactive problem-solving, with opportunities to work on Costpoint enhancements and system improvements across EY’s government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint required.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Experience with general ledger, accounts payable and expense processes.
• Proficiency in Excel with pivot tables, complex formulas and lookups.

Responsabilités

• Maintain general ledger structures and configurations in line with design docs.
• Ensure GAAP, FAR, CAS compliance and EY policies in transactions.
• Review journal entries and supporting docs for accuracy.
• Prepare entries and schedules to meet deadlines; maintain audit-ready docs.
• Perform reconciliations; resolve variances with stakeholders.
• Execute month/quarter/year-end close activities on time.
• Support internal/external audits with schedules and documentation.
• Process AP vouchers and expense reports per policies and FAR/DFARS/CAS.
• Maintain vendor master records; respond to inquiries professionally.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchasing and Compliance.
