Job summary

EY is hiring a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate in the United States. You will support day-to-day GL, AP, and expense processes, prepare journal entries, and assist with period-end close and audits.

Strong collaboration across finance is required, with attention to compliance and efficiency using Costpoint and Excel. You’ll work with diverse teams across EY’s US G&I practice and provide timely financial reporting while maintaining internal controls and supporting audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint required.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Experience with general ledger, accounts payable and expense processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and lookup functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and reconcile balances in line with GAAP, FAR, CAS and EY policies.
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules; ensure timely close activities.
• Support accounts payable and expense processing; ensure compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist internal and external audits by providing schedules and documentation.
• Collaborate with finance teams to resolve issues and promote process improvements.
• Develop and maintain reconciliation templates and procedure guides.
