Job summary

EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support daily GL, AP, and expense functions in the US. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations and assist period-end closes, while ensuring adherence to GAAP, FAR, and CAS.

You’ll also process AP vouchers and collaborate with Contracts, Subcontracts, and Finance to promote compliance and timely reporting. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical/dental, 401(k), and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint required.
• Experience with government contracting.
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and lookup functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS and EY policies.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations; assist close processes.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports per policies.
• Collaborate with Contracts, Subcontracts, Purchasing, Finance and Compliance.
