Job summary

EY is seeking a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate in the US to support day‑to‑day GL, AP and expense functions. You will prepare journal entries, complete reconciliations, assist with period-end close and respond to audits while maintaining compliance with GAAP, FAR, CAS and EY policies.

Strong collaboration across finance functions is essential. The role requires a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 4–6 years of government contracting accounting experience; security clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 4–6 years of government contracting accounting experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Deltek Costpoint required and experience with GL, AP and expense processes.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day general ledger activities and month-end close.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports per policy and FAR/DFARS.
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations with proper documentation.
• Collaborate across finance teams to ensure timely, accurate reporting.
