Job summary

EY in the US seeks a General Ledger / Accounts Payable Senior Associate to support GL, AP, and expense functions. You will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, support month-end close, and ensure compliance with GAAP and FAR.

This role collaborates across finance teams, uses Costpoint, and supports audits. A Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 4–6 years of experience, with ability to obtain a security clearance, are preferred. EY offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field
• 4-6 years of related accounting experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance
• Deltek Costpoint experience
• Experience with government contracting
• Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and lookups

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger account structures and configurations.
• Prepare, review journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities.
• Process accounts payable vouchers and expense reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and respond to audit requests.
