Zoom is seeking a Senior Accountant to own the full accounting lifecycle for capitalized software within the General Ledger team. You will work on IUS and CCA, support close processes, financial reporting, and balance sheet integrity, while leveraging AI-driven automation to transform controllership.

This remote-first, hybrid role partners with Engineering, FP&A, IT, and Finance to ensure accurate recording and reporting of transactions.

Qualificações

• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and close processes.
• Experience with accrual accounting, cost allocations, and month/quarter/year end closes.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP) and large data reconciliations.
• Experience using AI/tools to automate accounting workflows.
• Ability to communicate accounting concepts to non‑finance stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Support the accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software (IUS) and Cloud Computing Arrangements (CCA) including capitalization tracking and journal entries.
• Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and allocations with supporting documentation.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts per US GAAP and resolve reconciling items.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses and partner with FP&A on P&L and balance sheet fluctuations.
• Support financial reporting by assembling PBC schedules and reporting packages.
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance and ASC 350-40 controls via testing and documentation.
• Contribute to monthly/quarterly/yearly close and audit activities.
• Collaborate with IT to implement AI-driven tools and ERP improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase GL automation.
