Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Solid working knowledge of US GAAP with hands‑on accrual accounting, cost allocations, month/quarter/year‑end close.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms, plus advanced Excel and large data handling.
• Experience leveraging AI‑powered tools and automation to accelerate accounting tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high‑volume close environment.
• CPA license or active CPA candidacy; public accounting background preferred.
• Working knowledge of SOX 404 compliance and ASC 350‑40; SaaS/tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting lifecycle for Internal Use Software (IUS) and Cloud Computing Arrangements (CCA), including capitalization tracking and journal entries.
• Prepare and post journal entries with documentation, enhancing automated processes where possible.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts in line with US GAAP; investigate variances.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance analyses and explain P&L and balance sheet movements with FP&A.
• Support financial reporting packages and management P&L summaries with supporting schedules.
• Ensure controls and SOX compliance; participate in control testing and evidence gathering.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and assist audits.
• Collaborate with IT to evaluate AI tools, automation, and ERP improvements; assist testing.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase data quality.
