Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead design services for retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stabilization, and deep foundations.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license, 8–12 years in geotechnical/geostructural fields, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to shape a specialized service line with direct client interaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree with geotechnical/structural emphasis preferred.
• Professional Engineer license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 8–12 years in geotechnical/structural/geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility.
• OSHA 10/30-hour construction safety; preferred training in slope stability or deep foundation testing.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution and design software.
• Act as technical lead on projects and coordinate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Lead QA/QC reviews of design calculations and drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and proposal estimation.
• Collaborate with BLE’s geotechnical, CMT, environmental, and civil teams.
