Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead delivery of retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stabilization, and deep foundations.

You’ll own projects, interact with clients, and help grow a specialized service line within BLE. Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years of geostructural experience, PE licensure (or within 6 months), and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree with a geotechnical/structural emphasis preferred.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 8 to 12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction safety (or ability to obtain) preferred training in construction inspection, slope stability, or deep foundation testing

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution, design software, and field practices, providing constructive feedback to strengthen technical skills and engineering judgment
• Act as technical lead on projects, guiding staff and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
• Lead internal QA/QC reviews of design calculations, drawings, and reports, ensuring comments are addressed before issuance
• Coordinate project tasks, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders
• Assist with proposal development and pursuit strategy
