Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Geostructural Design Engineer to lead design services for retaining walls, ground improvement, excavation support, slope stabilization, and deep foundations. You will interact with clients and own project delivery across disciplines in a multidisciplinary firm.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in geotechnical/geostructural roles, a PE license or eligible within 6 months, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree with a geotechnical/structural emphasis preferred
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• 8 to 12 years in geotechnical, structural, or geostructural engineering with increasing responsibility
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour construction safety (or ability to obtain); preferred training in construction inspection, slope stability, or deep foundation testing

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior staff on technical execution, design software, and field practices
• Lead as technical lead on projects, guiding staff and coordinating stakeholders
• Develop and enforce design standards and checklists for Geostructural work
• Coordinate project tasks, milestones, and deliverables with stakeholders
• Assist with estimating level of effort for scopes of work and proposals
